At 29, Chris brings a ton of experience to the team, having played Step 5/6 football. He joined us at the tail end of last season and was a vital part of our promotion push, stepping up with some solid goalkeeping while our former keeper was out injured.

📖 Last season, he was at Chiseldon FC in the Swindon League, where he helped them secure a third-place finish with the best defensive record in the league. This season, he’s joined the mighty Andover Town as they look to regain promotion back into the Wessex League—and we’re proud to sponsor him for the season. 💪

🐅 Chris is proof that size doesn’t matter when you’ve got a leap like his. Whether it's saving penalties (like he did this weekend) or commanding his area, he’s always up to the task. Strong in the air, quick on his feet, and demanding of his area—our defenders love playing with him because they know he’s always got their backs (literally and figuratively).

With loads of experience playing for some of the best teams in Andover, Nick’s addition is a big win for Charlton Wanderers. At 32-year-old, Nick is a full-back who can dominate on either side of the pitch 💪

Nick spent four seasons at Tukkers before joining Broughton Wolves for the 23/24 season. Last season, he was instrumental in Broughton Wolves' success, making 22 appearances and helping them win Division 2 and the Junior Challenge Cup 🏆

He’s a proven winner, and that winning mentality is exactly what we need 🔥

At just 19, Callum rose above expectations last season, securing his spot as our starting LB and shining in every performance.

🔥 Our very own Marcos Alonso (just not as good looking 😅 sorry mate), Callum loves to overlap and become a threat up top. A local Andover lad, he made 20 starts last season and found the net twice. Defensively strong, he never backs down from a challenge and will put his body on the line for the team.

🏆 Callum won Young Player of the Season last season and has a bright future ahead of him. We’re excited to see him continue to develop 🔥

 🌟 At 28, Andre is our superstar from Portugal  and honestly, he is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet.

👏 Last season, he played 12 matches as a winger, scoring a crucial goal in our away league win over Andover Ravens.

🏆 This season, @andreecoelhoo has moved further back to play as a full-back, where his strong defensive skills really shine. He’s just as effective going forward as he is at the back, making him an invaluable part of the team. 

 Despite only signing for CWFC towards the end of last season, Brad quickly became a key part of the first team, earning Man of the Match in his first start.

🏆 At just 23, Brad’s versatility is invaluable—he plays as a fullback, centre-back, and winger on both sides. He’s team-first, always dedicated, and ready to put his body on the line 👊 

 🌟 @dswaisland made 12 appearances last season and scored a rare goal against Andover Ravens!

🧊 At 28 YO, Dan was a key player in our stellar defence last season. Known as 'The Fridge' for his rock-solid defence and crunching tackles, Dan’s commitment is unquestionable. As we move up to Div 2, his experience and skills will be invaluable. 

 At 32, Dave is our very own Viking at centre-back, known for his fierce defending and warrior spirit 🗡. Last season, he made 13 appearances and was a crucial part of our strong defence.

👏 @cockcroftdave isn’t just a beast on the pitch; he’s also a club committee member who does important work behind the scenes and has been part of the dedicated team that has got us to where we are now.

👊 Dave’s a winner, having reached the final of the Anniversary Cup two years in a row—winning with FC Anton and finishing runners-up with us last season. 

 Jack was with us in our debut season as MvF Andover back in 22/23, where he played 11 matches and scored 3 goals. Last season, he had a brief stint with Bell Inn but was soon called away by work commitments—who even schedules work on a Sunday morning? 😅

But now, Jack’s back and better than ever! He has been an absolute beast this pre-season, playing nearly every Sunday morning and dominating the pitch. Rock solid at the back, unbeatable for pace, and dominant in the air—if there’s a ball up for grabs, you can bet Jack’s winning it. And don’t forget his love for scoring from corners 💥 

 🌟 At 22 years old, Cam is a Centre-Back who looks every bit the footballer—strong, tall, and built for the game. But don’t be fooled by that innocent smile; behind it is a man who loves a crunching challenge and leaves no prisoners 🔥

🏆 Cam is a marauding centre-back who isn’t just about defending; he loves driving the ball forward and isn’t afraid to launch a pinpoint long ball. He’s strong in the air, quick on his feet, and no striker’s going to beat him for pace.

👏 With a great first touch and solid passing, @cameron.walker02 is the complete package.  

 At 32, @tomcozzi brings a wealth of experience and a no-nonsense approach in the middle of the pitch.

Tom was instrumental in Broughton Wolves' impressive run last season, helping them clinch Division 2 and the Junior Challenge Cup. With 11 goals in 23 games, he showed his ability to both create and finish with style ⚽.

His consistency and killer instinct are exactly what we need this season, and we’re buzzing that he chose us over our competitors 🐲 

 🌟 At 22, Matt is our midfield engine, and he can slot in anywhere in the middle of the park. He always puts in a shift, and it showed last season when he won the most Man of the Match awards and was voted Player’s Player of the Season 🏆

🔥 Matt was widely recognised as our strongest performer last season, making 21 appearances (joint 2nd highest) and scoring 4 important goals (mainly with his head) ⚽. He’s a true leader on the pitch and an absolute workhorse ⚡

⚓️ This season, Matt won’t be able to make every match as he’s joined the Royal Navy. We know he’ll make an excellent sailor, and we’re pretty sure the Navy’s just gained their best midfielder 🤷‍♂️.

Red and white are his colours on and off the pitch—so we know @mattrobson11 will slot right back into the team whenever he’s home 🔥 

 👑 Ben is our assist king, contributing to at least a goal per game and proving himself as a creative force in the middle of the pitch. Last season, he played 19 matches, scoring our opening day goal against Upper Clatford ⚽

⭐ Although he fits best as a CDM, Ben can play anywhere on the pitch. He won Most Versatile Player of the Season last year, excelling in every position like it’s his natural spot. He’s even stepped up as a goalkeeper in the Anniversary Cup final 🧤We’re still not sure if that was bravery or madness, but either way, we’re grateful! 😅

💪 Experience counts, and Ben has plenty of it, having played Saturday football and being well-known in the Andover area and beyond. Despite being double the age of some of our younger lads, Ben can still outrun them all! 💨

But it’s not all about football—off the pitch, @benhammettbrady is the nicest chap you’ll meet. He’s always giving back to the community, whether it’s participating in charity matches, raising awareness for mental health, or coaching young players. Ben is the definition of #whataman 🤩
